It would be a "breath of frech air" if more of the possitives were reported.

As much as we hear about the horrors of the war, it's important to see and hear that major progress has ben made in bringing a brighter future to Iraq.

I understand that reading an anonymous posting on an internet bulletin board should be sufficient, but still I wonder: Are any of these statements true?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Even if true, I wonder what relevance some of the information has. For example, is there any significance to the existence of an Iraqi navy? Has there ever been any significance to the Iraqi navy? Iraq has only one port as the rest of it was carved away when Kuwait was created.

Did you know that there are 1,192,000 cell phone subscribers in Iraq and phone use has gone up 158%?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">What does this mean? Cell phone usage has gone up? In what time period? What is the base number? Was it low? Are all those 1.92mm subscribers actually able to use their phones? Did usage go down significantly during the war and bump back up when the war ended? Did the cell phone towers even work during the war? Has land line usage gone up similarly...or has it gone down?

This tidbit is pretty much meaningless.
